Yes...I have made it this far already...no...I have no life...yes, I am avoiding my coursework.

I thought that this was a potentially VERY exciting development. They could have taken this story arc to new levels, dealing with the definition of life, consciousness and reality. I understand that they could only do so much with the length of time they had left, but this is one of those things that I would love to have seen it develop.

They did begin to take this places; recall the scene with Baltar speaking with the Centurian? "They have told you about God, haven't they?"

Oh well...

Yes, that was a cool development, that unfortunately never got too far. The ret of the series, imho, kinda veers into some soap-opera territories and eschews the potentials for serious sci-fi that it seeded within itself.

However, even at its worst, it was still some of the best tv out there.

I'm considering starting the series over again, knowing what I know now, and seeing if it makes any sense at all... except that I *do* have a life and it would be a gigantic time commitment. And I said the same thing with B5 and never did it so I let my record speak for itself. :-)

      "giant commitment"?
Watch 2-3 episodes a day, even once a week, and you'll blaze through in no time.

I'm going through Farscape (again) that way, just throwing on an ep when nothing else is on. It's great.
